I ordered two Android Mini PC RK3066, last week and received a parcel today, a few days earlier than expected. when I got home and opened it there was only one inside not two I ordered, just wrote to seller, let you know how it goes.

The one Android Mini PC RK3066 I received I had to update chrome for that app to work but the other browser worked straight away. I had an old wireless mouse with usb receiver which works fine and there is an onscreen keyboard.

I got speedtest.net app and it said I had 5.5 mps (get about 7 mps on laptop) so happy with that but it does seem to drop out from time to time. When I tried to stream a movie it didn’t work, it did through youtube but cant access full screen.

Have asked seller if I need new codec or something waiting for reply let you know.
did try getting real player app but that didn’t change anything.

Im sure for the price this may be ok to turn my tv into a voice activated tv but its not doing the intended purpose of streaming videos online so until this issue is resolved i would have to say the Android Mini PC RK3066 is not the best device but if it really did live up to the promised specs im sure it would be fantastic.

I’m hoping its just a small issue but see how i go, keep you posted

So after more playing around with the android TV i can say i am definitely happy with this new toy. The Android Mini PC RK3066 easily streams movies or music from the home network (my music/my videos on other computer and computer connected to shared home network), meaning i dont have to add a movie or music to a usb drive to play on my TV as i can direcrtly steam the content to my TV.

The Android Mini PC RK3066 also can stream youtube movies and can download a range of apps that can be used for a variety of reasons including some for streaming content online.

HDMI

This device does away with the need for wires as one HDMI cable from the device to the TV is enough as there is built in wifi and bluetooth. I have used my old phone charger with mini usb to power the device, im sure if you connected the mini usb to device and usb to TV it would power the device.

For under $100 this device is an excellent buy as it can be used to save lots of cash on a new TV.

Android Mini PC RK3066 has capabilities to play 3D games which i have not done but im sure with a 3D TV you can also stream 3D movies from your home network.

If you are looking to get a smart internet TV rather than poaying around $1 000 for as new TV, think about getting a Android Mini PC RK3066 and turning your old TV into a smart TV that can browse the internet, check emails, or stream content online or through your home network.
